I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Eagle Rock, Los Angeles with over 13 years experience providing mental health therapy. I am focused on holistic and practical body-based approaches to care through a blend of talk therapy and bottom-up approaches that focus on nervous system regulation.
In session, I focus on building positive relationships. We will go on a journey of understanding your nervous system and how it has responded in times of danger and safety. Together, we work to build pathways forward, to heal and nurture your nervous system into a state of wellness and connectedness.
I received my Master of Social Work Degree with a concentration in mental health from West Virginia University in 2011. In 2021 I went on to complete a course from the Polyvagal Institute for Foundations in Polyvagal Informed Practice , and now work as a consultant for Deb Dana .
I am cis-gendered woman with chronic pain and chronic illness and care very deeply about this work. Outside of private practice I have worked as a director in a social justice non-profit, addiction researcher, residential reentry therapist, and criminal-legal reform advocate. For fun I love being around animals, reading, dancing, and birding.

Stanley
Stanley is my therapy dog who attends sessions. He is a chihuahua mix that is full of love! Animals’ nervous systems provide regulating energy that is supportive in the healing process. When we need some grounding we can borrow their positive energy.
